augmented exercsie

What exercises can benefit a patient that just received a manipulation of the CT junction? I already use the supine self mobilization over a bolster. I continue to have patients return with stiffness and am looking for additional augmented exercises for this regions.

Self mobilisation over a bolster can provide extension mobility. I believe cervical mobilisation with towel can provide " upslide " mobility in the cervical segments.

You referring to Mulligan's self mobilization?

Consider alternating UE exercises into endrange motion. I feel that the eind range of flexion and Abduction will facilitate cervical thoracic motion.

In order to maintain the gained mobility through manipulation (beyond the reported 5 hours if we are lucky) I think that we need to get better at targeting a specific region with mobility exercises that do just that. I am not sure what you mean with abduction? Can you clarify that one for me?
